The Full Story

William Garvey, II is a former DeKalb County School District science teacher with a Pre-Med background and a Master’s degree in Public Health from Georgia State University.

His journey into natural healing is deeply personal. As a survivor of Stage 3 lymphoma, William developed a strong commitment to alternative and restorative approaches to health, seeking solutions that support the body’s ability to heal without dependence on invasive procedures or long-term medication.

Through his own experiences, he recognized a major gap in the wellness and recovery space: access. Many advanced therapies were being offered in expensive packages, requiring large upfront payments, insurance approval, or long-term financial commitments, placing effective treatment out of reach for everyday individuals.

Determined to change that, William founded The JOLT – Wave Therapy with a different approach.

The JOLT was built on one core belief:
Healing should be accessible, effective, and affordable.

By offering flexible payment options, including pay-as-you-go sessions and manageable monthly memberships, The JOLT allows more people to experience the benefits of advanced shock wave therapy without financial strain.
